We are off on another adventure, this time exploring Scandinavia and countries around the Baltic Sea. Our cruise with the Holland America Line (HAL) will begin in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on September 16, aboard the Rotterdam, and end in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on October 22. This is an area of the world we are not familiar with, only briefly visiting Bergen, Norway for a day during our cruise in 2017. Unfortunately, St. Petersburg, Russia, has been taken off the itinerary due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Although disappointing, we are confident other ports of call will fascinate us with their histories, cultures and and natural wonders. 

We are told there are 3 stages of retirement activity: the “Go-Go”, the “Go-Slow” and the “No-Go”. We find ourselves heading into our “Go-Slow” stage of travel, attempting to stave off “No-Go” for as long as possible. Following our motto, “Postpone Nothing” has served us well throughout the past 8 years of retirement. Here we go!
